Whitney Houston’s Death: Ray J Repeats Bizarre Phrase Over and Over

Whitney Houston’s death stunned the world and has left the people close to her devastated today. Ray J, whose been romantically linked to Whitney in the media, is one of the people who appears to be having a hard time with processing the news of her death. Witnesses report that he was in the lobby of the Beverly Hilton after she was found dead acting bizarre. He was with three friends, who were clearly trying to console him, but Ray J wasn’t receptive.

“Whitney dead. We all gotta live with that,” is the phrase Ray J repeated over and over, according to The LA Times. His level of agitation grew and next he started arguing with the woman at the front desk of the hotel about “missed calls” from Whitney. This made no sense since the singer is already dead at this point. The trio he was with continued to try to calm him down, but he answered those attempts with profanity.

Ray J continued with the phrase, “Whitney dead. We all gotta live with that,” until he and his three friends, two men and a woman, got on the elevator and went up to another floor. People deal with death in different ways, it sounds like Ray J was struggling with processing that Whitney was gone. He almost sounded like a man in shock, especially when saying the same thing over and over.

While Whitney, who was 48, and Ray J, who’s 30, spent a lot of time together, neither one talked very much about what kind of relationship they shared. Ray J’s no stranger to dating famous women. Je’s the co-star in the sex tape that’s credited for Kim Kardashian’s start as a celebrity. He’s from a family of celebrities, as his sister is the award-winning singer Brandy and his first cousin is hip-hop’s Snoop Dogg.
