South New Jersey Wineries

Southern New Jersey has so much to offer, such as the sandy beaches on the coast, the excellent farm produce and some wonderful wineries. Below, you’ll find a few local favorite wineries where you can explore, taste and purchase your favorite wines and find some new ones, too.

Cedarvale Winery
Logan Township, NJ
The Gaventa’s, the lovely couple who owns this winery, will tell you how proud they are of their lovely furit wines as well as the traditionals: Merlot, Chardonnay etc..Visit to sample wines, take a tour, chat with their wine-maker or attend or host a private event. You can find their wine offered at many of the local wine festivals.

Amalthea Cellars
Atco, NJ
With complimentary tastings on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am – 5pm, this is a winery you don’t want to miss if you are taking a wine tour through New Jersey. The wines are crafted by Louis Caracciolo who has made his wines known around the world.

Sharrott Winery
Blue Anchor, NJ
Sharrot winery has won awards around the country for their wine(s), they host private events, and host fun publc events such as Girls Night Out or having live music. Their website also has a list of which wines of theirs has been distributed locally.

Valenzano Winery
Shamong, NJ (New Jersey Pine Barrens)
Go all year round, but in the fall, enjoy their Winefest celebration in September as well as their wine tastings from their local vineyards. They also host special events such as weddings. Valenzano can also personalize and customize wine for you or for gifts. Family operated and owned, Valenzano Winery distributes to many local restaurants. Check their website for a list.
