Review: Lucky Soft Soap Liquid Hand Soap

A couple weeks ago, my wife and I were out shopping with the kids and she remembered we needed hand soap for the bathroom. I had just gotten paid, but we still hadn’t paid the mortgage and, as a result, were trying to be careful about what we spent. This is why I ended up picking up a container of liquid hand soap from the Lucky Hand Soap brand.

My big attraction to this hand soap was the price. It only cost $1, which meant I could buy a second one for the kitchen as well (we still had some in there but were starting to run a bit low). My wife also liked this product, but for a different reason, the lavender smell.

Unlike some people, I honestly don’t think there is much of a difference between soaps when it comes to getting your hands clean (at least not enough to spend more money on another brand). But, when we purchased this product, I did have some concerns.

One of the main ones is how strong the soap is when it comes to skin. This isn’t a huge deal for me personally. But, my wife and daughters all have sensitive skin and there are quite a few “soft” soaps out there that end up causing them to break out (this is especially true about our youngest daughter). Obviously, you can’t always judge something based just on price but the fact this was just $1 did create some doubts.

However, as it turns out, that wasn’t an issue after all. Everyone has been using this product for a couple of weeks now and none of the girls in my house (my wife included) have had any issue with it breaking out their skin. In fact, my wife says it leaves her skin feeling somewhat soft; much like what she gets with other, more expensive brands.

Another thing that impressed me was how long this soap has lasted us. We go through soap pretty quickly in our house and, because of that, I figured this would only last us a few days. But, there was quite a bit more inside the container than I expected.

Needless to say, I was very impressed with this purchase. I have no regrets purchasing this product, would consider buying it again and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for hand soap and doesn’t want to pay a fortune for it.
