In the wake of his recent statement that people look at him like he’s insane and/or Hitler, Kanye West and Adolph Hitler recently announced their partnership in forming the Narcissists Helping Narcissists Foundation to aid in the treatment of those with Narcissistic Unthinking Talker Syndrome, commonly referred to as NUTS. OK, not really. Hitler’s dead and West would never see himself as a narcissist anyway. West has certainly made his share of controversial statements throughout the years, and you have to wonder, does he really believe what he says, is he really a narcissist, and/or is he really insane? Or is is just subscribing to the old adage “any publicity is good publicity?” Everyone enjoys an over the top and entertaining personality, but don’t let it overshadow your work.

While raising money for Hurricane Katrina victims in 2005, West said “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.” Seriously? West tried to walk it back later, blaming his words on the emotion of the situation.

Dude, you’re not a female – why are you so concerned about the winner? Those awards are voted on by the fans; fans who may not appreciate the bad behavior and not vote YOU any VMA’s. What did Taylor Swift ever do to you anyway? She may not be Foxy Cleopatra, but she still sings a good song and puts out a good video. The funny thing is I don’t even remember the video, but we ALL remember the rant. I’ve heard any attention is good attention, but getting booed by the crowd and admonished by Pink? Come on, let your work speak for you.

You feel as hated as Hitler? Are you responsible for millions of deaths? Based on previous rants, I can see how people might look at you like you really are insane, but that’s part of the act, right? I know you have a new album coming out and need the publicity, but won’t a new album, especially collaboration with Jay-Z generate its own publicity? Get over it, before Don Henley finds your inner child.
