Dr. Phil was interviewed on “Today” this morning by Matt Lauer. The topic of conversation, naturally, was about the doc’s interview with George and Cindy Anthony. Unless you have been living under a rock, you know that the interview that will be filling the airwaves is George and Cindy Anthony and Dr. Phil discussing the Caylee Marie Anthony murder case. The interview is not live; the show was taped a while back and it is possible that things have changed for the Anthony’s since then.
When the schedule was set up, the season premier with the Anthony’s was to air on Monday and Tuesday, September 12 and 13, 2011. However, the show is being postponed due to the US Open tennis event. The Dr. Phil special with the Anthony’s will be shown on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 13 and 14, 2011 instead. The Anthony’s interview has taken second stage to the US Open.
Dr. Phil asked the Anthony’s hard questions and Matt Lauer questioned him about those questions. Dr. Phil, being a grandfather of a little girl and a brand new baby boy, says doesn’t understand how a child can be missing for 31 days and no one, including Cindy and George, had a clue. They also didn’t have a clue that Casey Anthony had lied to them for two years regarding her job. She didn’t have a job, no paycheck, no money coming in.
Casey Anthony is angry that her parents gave this interview. Does she think that her parents will tell what they truly know? Do you think they will? I believe that they know a lot more than they are saying, whether that ‘saying’ is to the police or Dr. Phil. If you can tell one lie, you can tell a million lies.
Did George Anthony help dispose of Casey’s body? Cindy says no, but we’ll have to wait until Tuesday to see the full interview. Clips were shown on “Today” to draw the viewers in. This show, whether you admit it or not, will have people watching and the ratings should go through the roof. Could a grandfather play a role in a cover-up such as this? It seems that the Anthony’s did whatever Casey wanted them to do her whole life, why not help with a cover-up? It’s not that far-fetched of an idea.
Caylee Marie Anthony is dead, that is the one thing we all know for sure. Did Casey kill her or was it an accident? Did George play a role in the deception and did his wife know? At this point, it is hard to say if the world will ever know the truth or not. If they all participated, they will have to live with that forever.
