Demi Moore Pulls Out of “Lovelace” Role

Things have been rough for Demi Moore since her split from Ashton Kutcher, and now she’s pulled out of her cameo gig in the film “Lovelace.”

Despite previous reports naming both Chloe Sevigny and Mary-Louise Parker as her replacements, it’s since been confirmed that Sarah Jessica Parker is the actress officially filling in for Moore as feminist legend Gloria Steinem in the upcoming big screen biography of porn star Linda Lovelace. Currently in production in Los Angeles, the movie will star Amanda Seyfried in the title role while Peter Sarsgaard acts as Chuck Traynor.

After she was rushed to the hospital earlier this week, sources close to Demi Moore have spoken out about the events in question and her condition.

The “Charlie’s Angels” star suffered what was described as a seizure in her home on Monday night (January 23). The situation prompted a friend to call 9-1-1, and at approximately 10:45 P.M. Moore was picked up by paramedics after medical personnel spent half an hour assessing her.

The same story stated that Demi’s friend who called for help told the dispatcher, “She smoked something. It’s not marijuana… It’s similar to incense. She seems to be having convulsions.”

As the call continued, the female pal described Moore’s condition as “semi-conscious, barely conscious,” and noted that she wasn’t breathing normally.

Shortly after news of her health scare went public, an insider told press that Demi was seeking help to “treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. Her life is completely in crisis. She is turning 50 and has no idea who she is or what her focus should be.”

A statement released by her rep sounded even more sugarcoated, as it read, “Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.”

Unfortunately for Moore, what were previously described as “undisclosed issues” have since been collectively redefined as “a substance abuse problem.” The specific drug(s) involved remain in question, though it’s unlikely such information will remain a secret for much longer.

Just two weeks before she was whisked away to the hospital, Demi Moore again became the subject of tabloid fodder after she was spotted enjoying a wild night out on the town with daughter Rumer Willis, 23.

The mother-daughter duo hit up Beacher’s Madhouse at the Roosevelt Hotel on January 11th and partied until the place closed down.

During the course of the evening, a stick-thin Moore was all over “90210” stud Ryan Rottman, with an onlooker telling press, “She found ways to touch him all night, and at one point when he was in front of her, she was grinding on his butt… his shirt came unbuttoned, and she started tickling his bare chest playfully.”
