Xenra is the only YouTube to MP3 conversion tool.

Cost And Extras

Xenra is completely free. While you can use Xenra from the website itself, download the correct plugin for your browser to benefit from Xenra without opening a new window. Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer are all supported.

How To Use

Your first stop should be YouTube. Open the video you wish to download the MP3 from. Copy the entire URL from the address bar in your browser. This is the long http://www.youtube.com/ address you see at the top of your browser window.

Navigate to Xenra. You can either open a new tab or window or simply use the existing YouTube window. Paste the entire URL into the Enter URL Here text box near the center of the Xenra window. You will see a Download Now button directly below the text box.

Press Download Now. Before your MP3 actually downloads, you have a few options to choose from. The first two (and most important) options include your format and video quality. MP3 is the default format, but you can also choose from AVI, FLV, MOV, MP4, 3GP, MPG and MPEG. The next option allows you to choose your video quality. This only applies if you choose a video format. The options vary based upon the options available on YouTube for viewing the video.

You can also change the ID3 tags before downloading, including the file name, title, artist and album. This prevents trying to remember what the MP3 is later. Some information may already be filled in. When you’re done, press Download to create a download link.

Click the provided link to download your file. Choose where to store the file on your hard drive. The time it takes to download will depend upon the size of the file and your Internet connection speed.

Please note that Xenra should not be used to download copyrighted or protected music.
