Who’s the best character in video games today? For me it is without a doubt Spider Man! Are your spider senses tingling? Mine sure are because Spider Man has everything you want in a video game character. He has the ability to swing from his webs, ability to sense danger, super human strength, and the ability to crawl on walls. Couple all of these things with integrity and you got yourself the perfect video game character! My favorite games that Spider Man has been featured in include: Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Spider-Man: Battle for New York, Spider Man 3, Ultimate Spider Man, and Spider Man: Web of Shadows.
One of the most intriguing abilities that Spider Man possess that sets him apart from other video game characters is his ability to swing from webs. The games are very captivating and I spend hours simply swinging from build to building. This is so much fun and really taps into what it means to be a super hero. Another great attribute that makes Spider Man a great video game character is his super human strength. You can throw huge objects like dumpsters 30 feet or break through walls with just one single punch. Spider Man posses the ability to sense danger even before it happens which is great because it keeps you on your guard. This sense is called “spider-sense” and truly makes the game character unique because I can’t think of another character that posses this ability. What would a character named Spider Man be if he couldn’t climb on walls? This ability is so unique and really lets players to dive into a fantasy world. This quite possibly is Stan Lee’s best super hero and makes for an even greater video game character.
Another reason why I like this video game character is because he has so many cool enemies. Enemies include: Carnage, Chameleon, Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Electro, Hobgoblin, and Venom. All of these villains make Spider Man one of the best characters in video game history. Spider Man has defeated all of these foes and the game allows you to battle each one in spectacular fashion. All in all Spider Man allows gamers to enjoy and adventure every time they play. There are always things to do even when you beat Spider Man games; namely swinging around the city. I love this character so much because I am never bored when playing with him!
