What time of the menstrual cycle would someone have to be stressed to miss a period?
Q: I’m 3 days late for my period, there is no chance I’m pregnant, and I’ve had my period for many years (So, it’s not that I’m going through puberty when it’d be normal to be irregular) It’s usually right on time. I was under a lot of stress last month shortly before and during my period, could that cause me to miss a period this month? Of course, it’s only been 3 days, and I’m feeling some cramps so it could be on it’s way.
A: Irregular Periods/ Vaginal disorders The main reasons irregular periods are1 .Blockage of blood circulation to the lower abdomen area due to lack of physical exercise. 2. Functioning of the thyroid glands is not fair.3. Fibroid in the uterus and/ or cyst in the ovaries 4. Poor health condition and / or lack of exercise 5. Psychological reasons such as anxiety neurosis stress tension etc. Periods during adolescent stage will be generally irregular. It is normal. It may become regular by the age of 18 or 19.. Monthly period may differ the span of time ie total days of gap for next period may differ. Sometimes it may go up to 36 or 40 days. But when the gap in between two periods is less than 25 days everyone should consult a gynaecologist and get advice and treatment.
Late Menstrual Cycle?
Q: I am 15, and my menstrual cycle is later than usual. I usually get my period between 30-32 days and I get it for about 4-5 days. It has been 1 month and 3 weeks that I haven’t gotten it (about 50 days). Should I be worried, what are the causes of a late menstrual cycle? Is it even a late menstrual cycle, like is this completely normal? I have herd some people say that it could be because of the persons weight…I am 98 pounds. Some people even said it might be because I don’t have a high enough body fat % (my body fat % is I think normal it is: 16.4%)Maybe this is completely normal that its been 1 month and 3 weeks that i haven’t gotten it? Oh and I forgot to mention, I am not sexually active, I have never had sex with anyone, so I can’t be pregnant 🙂 Anyways did u ever miss a cycle or have it late, if you did how late was it? Let me know any answers would be appreciated! Thanks! xxoo
A: If you are under a lot of stress, that can impact your cycle. I used to be all over the place before I went on the pill, typically going 45-50 days between periods. Also, you are a lightweight, and your lack of body weight can also impact getting your period. Also, if you “fool around” with a guy, even if you don’t actually have sex, there is a slim chance you could be pregnant. Either way, talk with your mom or dad and get yourself a doctor’s appointment. You should probably have an exam and get it checked out.
Has anyone had one of these? I did, it was very hard and confusing..?
Q: Chances are you didn’t even know you were pregnant or had just found out you were expecting when you received the shattering news that there is no visible developing embryo on the ultrasound. You are probably feeling sad and confused. As you take time to understand what this means, also take time to grieve as you would for any loss. And remember you are not alone. What is a blighted ovum? A blighted ovum (also known as “anembryonic pregnancy”) happens when a fertilized egg attaches itself to the uterine wall, but the embryo does not develop. Cells develop to form the pregnancy sac, but not the embryo itself. A blighted ovum usually occurs within the first trimester before a woman knows she is pregnant. A high level of chromosome abnormalities usually causes a woman’s body to naturally miscarry. How do I know if I am having or have had a blighted ovum?A blighted ovum can occur very early in pregnancy, before most women even know that they are pregnant. You may experience signs of pregnancy such as a missed or late menstrual period and even a positive pregnancy test. It is possible that you may have minor abdominal cramps, minor vaginal spotting or bleeding. As with a normal period, your body may flush the uterine lining, but your period may be a little heavier than usual. Many women assume their pregnancies are on track because their hCG levels are increasing. The placenta can continue to grow and support itself without a baby for a short time, and pregnancy hormones can continue to rise, which would lead a woman to believe she is still pregnant. A diagnosis is usually not made until an ultrasound test shows either an empty womb or an empty birth sac. Your purchase supports the APAMy first pregnancy ended in one of those, it was very hard to deal with because no Dr. ever explained what really had happened to me, I had to look it up my self, all they said was that I was having a miscarriage, but when I looked at my Hospital release papers, I found out that I had had a ” Blighted Ovum”I had not ever heard of one and was just wondering how many others had heard or even had one……ThanxSORRY……My question was ” if anyone else had had a ” Blighted Ovum”That was my question, being that before I had had one I never heard of it…
