What herbal tea blend will relieve these symptoms?
Q: What herbal tea blend will relieve these symptoms I’m having (while I take care of the root causes?) Dizziness, tension headaches and very mild anxiety (these are due to back/neck muscle tension/injury), intestinal gas. I also would like mental clarity and energy as I don’t want to feel drowsy. Is this an okay blend in one cup?Chamomile (to relax neck muscles and nerves to prevent dizziness/tension headache)Ginger (to combat dizziness, anti-inflammatory)Basil (to combat intestinal gas)??? (What else for clarity and energy?)
A: Fennel is good for abdominal bloating/indigestion. You should see a chiropractor for help with your back problems. Acupuncture can help with relieving pain and promoting relaxation within the body. Rhodiola Rosea can help with mental clarity and energy. I used to take it when I suffered from chronic fatigue problems. It’s been clinically tested for over 30 years. Make sure you get the Rosea variety.
HELP.. Extreme Intestinal gas, diarrhea?
Q: Okay today I had extreme intestinal gas after dinner followed by two episodes of explosive diarrhea. We had steak, baked potatoes, and salad.. But I have had symptoms related to bowel for 13 days now. About 13 days ago I was constipated with stomach pain, then diarrhea with stomach pain about 11 days ago and since then I have had very soft bowels, episodes of diarrhea in the morning and some stomach pain/cramping every so often.. but I have been much more gassy than usual the entire time. Last Friday (9days ago) I went to Urgent care and they did blood tests, urine tests, and everything looked fine. My doctor told me to lay off Milk for a couple weeks and eat more bananas and toast to see if that helps.. the doctor said he was also a ER doctor and saw things like this all the time.I have laid off milk for the most part except a half of a glass today at lunch. I freak out a bit when I have health things going on and get really scared, and at this moment I am pretty scared because I dont know what it could be…I dont wanna neccessarily run back to the doctor because I already saw one that said I was fine last week.. but I am worried… any advice… or anyone experiencing the same or similar??
A: Have you been eating a lot of fiber or cereal? This will cause you to have loose stools. The fiber makes everything softer. When you were constipated, did you take any laxatives? Some laxatives are really strong and pretty bad to take mroe than once. Be careful of this.
Lately i’ve been having a lot of dull aches and gas in the intestinal area,
Q: some of the symptoms are as the following:-LOT’S of gassiness-cramps-acne -bloating-constipation-painThis is all in the intestinal area and has been occurring since December ’07. It’s disabling me from attending parties, shows, and after school activities due to the constant gassiness and pain. I’ve been to the pediatrics and a number of times and gotten blood tests twice. I also when a to a Chiropractic who said that my back was perfectly straight (while the pediatrics disagreed) and told me my ‘vowel flap’ (or something) was open and that i had to push it up to close it after eating. I also went on a strict diet that eliminated any wheat, corn, etc… for two weeks. I only ate vegetables, meat, and fruits. It helped a little bit as some of the gassiness and bloating went away. I also went on a Gluten-free diet because i had lots of those symptoms. What could this be? Its getting really annoying and worse every day!
A: I get all of those symptoms when I drink or eat milk products, especially the gas and acne. You may want to cut out all milk products (make sure you take calcium supplements) for several weeks. I also experienced similar symptoms (not due to milk) last year after a particularly stressful year and actually couldn’t eat for a month. I started very slowly and eliminated all the same foods plus fruit from diet as you did, but I eliminated them for a few months. If that diet was helping, I recommend staying on it for a longer period of time. Also cut out milk and make sure that you are eating enough fiber and having a bowel movement at least 1-3 times a day. I think you’ll find that you will be feeling better in a month or two.
