- A: People just develop at different rates! Don't worry, you will get your period, and probably fairly soon, but don't worry about it till then. Don't live your life waiting for the next thing to happen, or life will disapoint you. However, make sure that you carry a pad around with you wherever you go, for when it does happen.And, though it is possible for your undeveloped friend to have her, some of your friends are probably lying, because only about half of girls start before 13. And remember, some girls get their periods when they're 9, some start as late as 18. I do think you will start within the next 6 months or so, but remember that ever girl is different, so you're not alone!Feel better, and just remember to be happy with who you are.:)

Also, the discharge tends to start about 5 days before ovulation, not right at ovulation.Ovulation does not happen necessarily at day 14 of your cycle.Ovulation happens 10-18 days BEFORE your next period (most likely 14 days). So if you have 21 day cycles, you could be ovulating on day 7.
