Pregnancy- Abdominal pain -Please Help!?

Q: I am four months pregnant. I just went to the doctors this week and they just checked the heart beat and that was good. This months I have been experienced abdominal pains on and off. Today it has been the worst. Earlier this afternoon I had a couple of sharp pains um my vagina or uterus going straight up when i got home i had some pain in my lower abdomen that was constant for a little while so I sat down and they went away. Tonight I still am having mild abdominal pain in the lower part but I have experienced 2 very sharp pains one was lower right side of my stomach very sharp then about and hour or 30 min later another very sharp pain across my stomach. is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? I have not had another sharp pain yet but i am getting worried. Any info will help. Thank YouMY HUSBANDS NAME IS ROBERT!

A: It sounds like round ligament pain. They are the ligaments that support your uterus and as your baby gets bigger it stretches those out, and can be pretty painful especially with first pregnancies. The sharp pain in the cervical area sounds like what my daughter was doing when I was carrying she move and hit a nerve in the cervix, it’s really easy for them hit it because is draws up while pregnant.

Q: Im desperately trying for a baby,I have been trying to conceive for a year and a half now with no luck….Im now peeing very frequently but only very little at a time, is this an early sign of pregnancy? A: sounds like it could be pregnancy symptoms. Id say wait and see if your period comes. If it doesnt then go and buy a pregnancy test. Try not to stress to much about it though because you can cause yourself to skip your period if u think about it to much. just try to relax until u can take a test. And if you take a test and its positive then you have a wonderful christmas gift.
