Diarrhea and Abdominal Pains?
Q: Okay. I’ve had really watery stools for 5 days, now. I only go 2/3 times a day (which is still quite a bit), but on the third day, I started to experience lower abdominal pain. The same area where you feel pressure as if you have gas? Or cramps while menstruating? That’s what it feels like. My question is this: Is this normal behaviour for diarrhea? Also, I haven’t taken anything for it. No Pepto or anything. I did take some Imodium A-D this morning, though.
A: Sounds like a stomach virus. I would consult with your Physician about taking things because your body has to take its course to fight off the virus and some meds may slow that process down.
