- Q: Crazy enough, I am a nurse, but not sure whats wrong w/ me. Yesterday, I had to leave work because I had what I thought was gastroenteritis. My stomach hurt all over and I had a lot of gas with diarrhea. Ive had a really bad cold, so I chalked it up to the flu. Well, I woke up this morning early and the belly ache I had yesterday has migrated into my right side. If i poke it, it hurts and its very centrally located in my r side. I am waiting until the surgeon I like goes on call today at noon. How do you know you have appendicitis? I have been running a low grade 99.6 fever, and feel like I could vomit, so just in case, I am not eating or drinking anything.
- A: Happy, Chiara, may be right, see emergency asap. You can never guess what you have! Take care! Jimmy.
