Best and Fast Acne cure?
Q: I’m taking accutane and I’m getting dry skin/ dry lips, all the fun stuff.I’m just starting my 3rd month and its cleared up a lot of my forehead and for some reason, 1 side of my face.. the other side is “clearing” but its still not very good. they aren’t deep cysts, only red pimples all over.In addition, my face is pretty red all over just from having the pimples there. The dermatologist told me not to take any pills while taking acutane, so I’m not sure if that means vitamins as well?I have prom in a week and I’d really appreciate it if I could get some help here..1st – I’ve heard about all the cucumber paste, tomato, basil, tooth paste (I’ve heard it doesn’t work) and a lot of other natural paths, but what is the simplest home remedy that has for sure worked for you? How long did you do it and what were the effects? (reduce redness, swelling, clear acne, etc.)2nd – Should I take vitamins while taking acutane? And if so, what type of vitamins are best for clear skin?3rd – I read that milk and those products can be bad for your skin, yet I also read yogurts are extremely healthy for your skin – what is your knowledge on this?4th – I use a moisturizer that is for sensitive skin since my skin is dry from the accutane. I don’t need ProActive or suggestions like these please.I need natural remedies, help on vitamins, information like this. Long term would be helpful, and especially things that will help by next Saturday would be the best.(Also, I have a normal eating diet, probably less fatty than most, and I drink little to no pop. I don’t sleep on a certain side of my face and I change pillow/sheets often.)I need to reduce redness and clear up my face. Please help, and thank you.
A: For [preventing] acne Benzoyl peroxide, 2%, 5% or 10% or w/e with oil-free moisturizer (use after the bp has dried up), bee propolis powder (also apparently speeds up healing redness) and occasionally some AHA or whatever acids – but i’d get a breakout sometimes after them. For redness i use vitamin k oxyde cream – it gets worse for about 20 seconds then it’s okay. I do get acne after eating a cereal/ drinking milk… but i got told by my doctor that the diet has no impact on acne, so not sure..I also took garlic, twice a day, a bit better than with the odorless garlic tablets.Make sure you test some of these products before you use them…

A: There are home remedies for acne that can help you a lot. Here are a few things that you can do.#1. Drink large quantities of green tea. Green tea is a natural anti-oxident and will help to clean your body out naturally. An excellent herbal remedy that works!#2. Drink a lot of water. This is just good sense anyway as it helps to flush all of the nasty toxins that build up in our bodies and cause us all sorts of grief and discomfort, especially with all of the convenient, processed junk that we eat these days.#3. Do you want a really good tip for cleansing your body? Try fasting one day per week. This has been proven time and again to be a super help for body cleansing. Drink lots of water and pee freely. Get that poison out of your system!#4. Make major changes in your eating habits. See above. Fresh fruits and vegetables are excellent and will also help you to maintain a healthy body weight. Especially focus on citrus fruits such as lemons, oranges, limes and grapefruit.#5. Strawberries and strawberry leaves are helpful in getting rid of acne.#6. Exercising will help you to rid your body of toxins and boost your metabolism. Sweat that garbage out and you’ll not only begin to look better, but feel better as well. There are many myths associated with the causes of acne. There are also many home remedies for acne cures.
Proper diet to get clear skin?
Q: I’ve decided that I need to make a lot of adjustments to my diet in an attempt to clear my skin. I have pretty bad acne and I feel like I’m almost addicted (if that’s the proper word) to processed junk food, sugar, carbs and starches…basically anything that’s bad for you if you eat it as much as I do. I’m a vegetarian (no meat whatsoever!) so I don’t get the vitamins, protein and such that I need. Like most teenagers, I eat when I’m bored 😡 I almost always feel hungry too, and I reach for the junk food because that’s what we mostly have at my house. I’m not overweight (thank you fast metabolism!) but I would like to lose a few pounds as well as help my skin. I always tell myself “You’re going to eat healthy from now on!” and I lose that battle within a day! It’s horrible, and I’m at my wit’s end with myself.I know this is a long question, but I need to know a) what supplements I should be taking or what I should be eating to get the right vitamins and such, and b) how can I stop eating so much!? Can anyone give me the basic idea of an ideal diet?Oh, from this question, I sound like such a wreck :xThank you so much for your help, and sorry for the long, boring question!
