Q: I am not saying it’s good OR bad I myself don’t want kids till I’m 24 but I’m wondering why teens want babies now and not later in life after saving some money. I understand people get anxious but why have kids when you still rely on your parents? NONE of this is mean or snide I’m just wondering Why now?

A: Well I don’t think I’d consider my self a teen anymore, but I will still answer, I am 19, will be 20 when I have my baby… I have people telling me I am too young, But I think whether you’re ready for a baby depends on you as a person, not your age… I feel that being a mother is what I am meant to do with my life. I have almost finished college, and will be done by the time my baby is born. I am capable of supporting myself, and am 100% prepared to be a mom and support another person. And I do not have a delusional perspective of how motherhood will be, I was a full-time nanny (with the children from the moment they woke up to the moment they went to sleep) so I know exactly what the day to day life will be like.Im not saying teens make good mothers, but im saying I think there are some people who will make a great mother no matter what their age is.

I DON’T THINK THE UNDERSTAND WHAT A HUGE RESPONSIBILITY HAVING A BABY IS!

Q: Alot of teens get pregnant. Then they talk about how much they want the baby but after they have the baby they dont take care of the child usally it is the mother or someone else that does it.

A: I do not agree with anything you just said. I’am a teen mother and I love my child and do take care of him by myself. It was not a planned pregnants. I belive if you have sex than you should take the conciquences.
