Q: So, my fiance and I have dated for about four years on and off (mostly on). However one of the times when we were broken up he got drunk a couple times and slept with this girl he used to work with (who is know around town as quite a whore). He pulled out both times, but she became pregnant. He accepted responsibility at first and even went to her first doctor’s appointment with her. However, a little while after that she found out that she had chlymidia (sp?) and told my fiance that he must have given it to her; he went and got tested (I saw the paper) and was negative. Then she went nuts and wouldn’t talk to him and blocked him on Myspace and whatnot. That is until she decided she wanted him to take a paternity test, which he did and paid for half of. How much do you guys think I need to worry about this and what are your thoughts?

A: I’d worry more about your fiance sleeping with another woman so easily. :/ If the paternity test shows he’s the father, then you’ll have to decide if you love him enough to be a step-mom and have to put up with this other woman in your lives for the next 20 years.

Q: Here is her question… Keep in mind, she can not go to the doctor yet…she is visiting her best friend in Texas right now and will be home soon to see a doctor…My last normal period was 9/24. I ovulated between 10/08-10/16th, not sure because I think it could have been late! I expected my next period 10/21…but it didn’t show! My periods are always on time or really early, I havea 28 day cycle. Me and my fiance are trying to concieve, have been for about 6 months steady with no BC or protection whatsoever especially on every day that I could have been ovulating! I took 1 HPT the day after 10/21—-negative and another 4 days after my missed period—-negative but something is not right, I just know it, well yesterday (day 7) I woke up cause I was cramping a lil bit & when I peed & wiped, there was some old blood & then light pink blood on the TP, barely anything though….I continued to check on this til this morning and it went from really old blood-fresh light pink blood but very light, it never got on my undies, only when I wiped or if I put a tampon in which I did once to check how much was “inside” me since I couldn’t tell….it did pick up but never once did it get heavy or anything and it has went away today! Soo it only lasted for one day & I am really confused…..what’s considered spotting and what EXACTLY does/can it look like? I’m going to the doc in a week cause I am on vacation right now so I can’t get tested quite yet….my periods are never late and like I said, I really do have an intuition that something is up…could I be pregnant? A: It sounds like you’re pregnant honey. Implantation bleeding is a symptom and so is mild cramping. These are symptoms that usually show up between 2-8 weeks. I am pregnant now and i have mild cramps, tender breast, I had a discharge and fatigue so on and so forth. As for now I would suggest you take the tampon out and use a thin pad. Also if you’re taking pregnancy test and they are proving to be negative, It could just be that you don’t have enough of the HC hormone (pregnancy hormone) it doesn’t mean you’re not pregnant. A: Firstly – sweetie – I am so sorry to hear that happened to you. Its a horrible thing!! And thank goodness he is in jail! Now the big question you really need to ask yourself is – can you let your fiance raise a child that might not be his? How fair would that be to him? The child? You? I would say talk to him about it. Tell him what you told us here. Let him know that you want him to raise the child no matter what. Maybe – hopefully if he is the man you think he is – he will say that he doesn’t care whos baby it is and that he loves you and wants to be there for you no matter what. Don’t be surprised though if that isn’t his 1st reaction as I am sure this is going to hit him like a ton of bricks. Give him time. Good Luck 🙂
