A: My Dr told me absolutely no tanning beds while pregnant..but not because of the rays, its because of over heating and that can cause brain damage to the baby. I have a rash too and she told me I can go to the pool and swim and get a Little amount of sun at a time. She said just drink plenty of water and go in the shade and pool every 15 minutes and not to be out for more than an hour a day. I tried it last weekend and it did help the rash a bit but I wouldn’t over-do it.
