Vegetarian wanting to be pregnant…?
Q: i am a vegetarian and my husband and i want a baby. but we’re not quiet sure if its safe. i dnt want anything meat but is it ok to be vegetarian while pregnant? and wut kinds of food shuld i eat through pregnancy?
A: My best friend was a vegan throughout her whole pregnancy. And not to mention she had a 10lbs baby. You have to make sure you eats lots of food with protien and iron. Banannas are really good and so are potoatos and TOFU. You will want to check with your doctors because every women is different however it will be just fine. Personally it is safer because you are eating less fats and some meats arelly hard for the body to digest so it will help with constipation. You also may have to take some vitamins while pregnant, consult with a pharmacists first. Good luck with your baby wishes.

A: As long as you are getting all the protein and other nutrients you need through other foods like soy products it is perfectly ok not to eat meat. I would suggest talking with your ob to see if they can suggest a nutrition plan for you to follow if not set up an appointment with a registered nutritionist. Good look and Congrats!
