How long after you give birth can you get pregnant again?
Q: I had my son 8 weeks ago. I was afraid to go back on the pill after I gave birth because I was breastfeeding. My husband and I had intercourse the day we could. Now I have been having symptons of pregnancy. I am really scared. I am hoping that I am not, or it is not possible, because we can’t handle another child yet. Is it possible? The condum tore, I forgot to add that, and my hubby didn’t realize nor did I.Oh geez. That would mean I would be about 5 weeks pregnant. My doctor told me at 3 weeks we could have intercourse again! Now I just read most doctors said 6! Nothing tore while giving birth or anything, could that be why?Oops two typos, I would be 6 weeks pregnant and my doctor said 2 weeks.I’m am defintley buying a test today. My mother gets here in half and hour to watch the boys for me so I can run errands. A stop at CVS for a test will def be one of my trips!♥Lizzie♥ (BCA) : That’s what I am hearing now too! Should I report my doctor for telling me 2 weeks?the test was positive. aww crap! got to make a doctors appointment!
A: It is definitely possible. My grandmother had twins and when she went in for her 6 week check up, she was pregnant again. So anything is possible!
no period 71/2 weeks postpartum?
Q: I gave birth to my son 7 weeks ago, and stupid me, my husband and I resumed intercourse when I was 4 weeks postpartum.. however this was after a long night of drinking at a wedding reception, and appearantly he didnt hear me the two time I said pull and pray please.. however, as stupid as it was, I cant go back and undo it.. I have been scaried straight, and he isnt touching me with a ten foot pole.. the only problem is that I havent resumed my period, at my 6 week check up the doctor was suprised to hear that I hadnt, and said if by 8 weeks nothing I would need to take a preg test.. is this even possible? I mean have any other women not started there period by week 8? I know If I am pregnant it is because of our own stupidty, I am just in denial.. help, anyone else not see aunt flow by 7 weeks post partum?I am not nursing!
A: I didn’t get my period back for about 8-9 weeks. HOWEVER, I didn’t have any unprotected sex or anything so I wasn’t worried. Many woman DO get pregnant right after a baby.. as you’re fertile then…….. I would take a preg. test….. good luck!
has anyone ever had a baby and felt it was a mistake?
Q: My homegirl had a baby about 8 weeks ago. She just recently told me she felt like she made a mistake when she got pregnant and even more so now that the baby is here. She said it’s not a selfishness or a need to get back to her “social” life because she never really had one, she just feels like she should have never gotten pregnant or given birth. She even said she doesnt feel love towards her child, she keeps waiting for it to come but has yet to feel it. I know she doesn’t believe in abortion or adoption and she’ll continue to grin and bear it but is it possible to feel that way after meeting your baby? Maybe she knows that motherhood isn’t for her. I don’t have kids so I really don’t understand but I do know that reminding her of all the women who can’t have kids is a waste of time. She’d just ask me what it has to do with her feelings and decisions. Is there something I can do to make her feel differently or will her feelings change after she’s gotten used to being a mom? She’s 25. I think she needs a break just to have some time to herself. Right now shes unemployed & is with the baby 24/7. I work a lot but if I didnt I’d give her that. Please dont even ask about the jerk off “sperm donor” who treats the child like a trophy.
A: she is suffering from postpartum depression, get her help immediately!!
