why are so many 15-16 year olds are pregnant?
Q: i was reading the pregancy section and was surprised to see so many young girls who are pregnant or are saying that they had babies at age 15-16.isnt it sad, that a child that age is saddled with the burden of another child? what is the society coming to if we allow our young children to have sex and have babies so young.i am not bashing anyone or trying to be mean, just trying to understand the mind of the new generation.a kid of 15-16 should be going out to parties, hanging out at the mall, meeting with friends, generally having a great time without any burdens or responsibilities of this sort. the only stress on them should be to study and do well at school.i guess our society has become so much more permissive that kids who are immature of mind are out there taking control of their lives and parents are not involved enough or dont care enough to teach them how to deal with the pressures of teenage and basically how to say “no”, be it to sex or to drugs.i just pray that the new generation will learn to control their hormones and be children for a while longer before they jump into the rat race.for those who already are pregnant, i am so sorry that you are being saddled with so much responsibility but i hope that you will teach your children not to make the same mistake and tell them of all the fun times you missed out because you were a parent too soon. i know that you love your kids and wouldnt trade them, but love them enough to stop them from falling into the same pit.God bless.
A: Yeah. I’m 15 and I would never dream of having sex until I marry my boyfriend its ….just..wrong! you don’t do it. I can understand it though there’s so many girls that don’t feel loved by they’re parents or family so they feel like they have to get love from guys which is natural we want to be loved by a guy. I want to be loved by a guy. but I’m loved my boyfriend (we’ve been together o most two years) and I’m loved by God so it makes my desire to be cherished a little less so its alot less difficult for me. But if you dont have God or a loving familyman its easy to go for the sex (not only cause its enjoyable) but because its feeling like your worth it. And if your not hot in this society and willing to give guys what they want most of them dont give a darn about you. And as far as i’m concerned I have the last good guy. 🙁
Why are so many young girls in the southern states pregnant?
Q: Now, don’t get me wrong in asking this. I do not care not nor want to know your views on abortions, so keep it to yourself either way. What I’m wondering is why it is so common in the southern states for girls to have children before even hitting 20. I’ve lived in more then one country and in many northern and southern states and I am amazed at how many 16 year old mothers I see. Is it a lack of sexual health education in the schools? Is it harder to get on birth control down here? Are there less sexual health clinics open to the public and if so, why when clearly it is so high down here. I’ve asked many friends in the area and all of them said that when they were in high school at least 4 or more girls were pregnant. So my question is….why?
A: That is a very over generalized thing to say
teenage pregnancy … pregnant at 16, can/should it be done, and how? HELP please !!?
Q: I’m sixteen (seventeen in November) and am waiting on my period. It was due at the end of the month and hasn’t come around yet. The HPT’s don’t read positive yet, so until I know for sure I’m just waiting for my period. If it doesn’t come by next month, I will have to face reality, make a Dr.’s appointment, and tell my parents. My mother has told me from DayOne as she likes to say, that if I ever got pregnant I would be out on my butt. My father thinks it’s the worst thing in the world that could happen to me. My boyfriend is very, very supportive (he’s 19, 20 in November) and thinks we can do it, it will be hard obviously but we can do it. There are many pregnant girls around 17 in my town, but I don’t want to be stuck! I plan to go to college and get my degrees, and I don’t want to let a baby stand in the way. I would never consider abortion- I’m ProChoice but it just isn’t a choice for me- and adoption would be a nightmare. I know it’s possible, but is it probable? Positive answers?Umm yeah, I live in MA and it is not against the law, it is not RAPE by any means. Thanks for being imbeciles. We are in a committed relationship and will/are taking responsibilities for our mistakes. I am already enrolled in nightschool and will recieve my degree/GED next December. From there I can go to community college for 2 years, and then a state school after. For the idiots who told me I shouldn’t have “dun” it, NO SHIT!! But I did, and this is the consequence. I believe any child will flourish with loving and responsible parents. For the ones who give support, thank you.Umm yeah, I live in MA and it is not against the law, it is not RAPE by any means. A: You answered your own question. You said you would not have an abortion nor would you put a child up for adoption so that means you would keep your pregnancy and will have to move out of your parents home into your own place and get a job. It will be hard but you can do it if you try.Good luck
