- A: It took my husband 11 months off of birth control, and three months of active TTC all caps to get pregnant. (I was on Clomid those last three months, and the last month used pre-seed as well. I highly recommend!) I'm 8 weeks 1 day, and indigestion was the one thing that made me guess I might be pregnant. I went out to eat with my dad at 8dpo and my indigestion was awful. The next day I had little twinges in my belly, and when I tested, at 9dpo, I got a positive. I haven't had morning sickness, heartburn, frequent urination, headaches... In the very beginning my nipples were sore, but only for about a week. Fatigue has been the bane of my existence since about five weeks. I'm a slug, I have trouble getting up off the couch. Luckily, I'm in my last semester of school and have classes twice a week, so five days out of seven, I can be a slug. Nobody really tells you about all the gas, though. I burp all day long, and I was never like that before, and more foods than ever give me bad gas. Cramps after orgasm is normal too, I got so freaked out the first time I had cramps, I ran to the internet to look it up, so relax if that happens. I hope this has helped you, although I know no sickness is very unusual! Good luck with your ttc journey!
