How can babies be born with teeth?
Q:
A: The following information may be of use to anyone wanting to know more about babies being born with teeth, which isn’t common but it does happen from time to time. Some infants are born with one or more teeth (called natal teeth) or may have teeth emerge within the first 30 days of life (called neonatal teeth). These usually are either extra teeth or are remnants from neonatal development that do not need treatment. If they are, however, actual teeth, it’s a good idea to maintain them. Your doctor, however, may recommend removing them if the teeth are loose and pose a danger of being inhaled by your baby. Early teeth may also interfere with feeding or irritate your baby’s tongue. Hope this helps!

We can see her gums are preparing with some kind convex tip shape of gums & one tooth is almost visible a little bit. Please let us know why this is happening? We as a caring parents are shocked & afraid. Please let us know in detail if there will be any kind of problem for our baby girl in future due to her early teeth. How common is it for baby to be born with 2 teeth. Can they keep the teeth or do they have to be removed.?
Q:
A: It does happen, though it’s not all that common. And sometimes they are removed because of the choking hazard. If it were to fall out, the child could choke on it…I know they used to remove them…I’m not sure if they still do.**********And just for those of you who don’t know….Teeth have nothing to do with breastfeeding…being bitten with teeth or without is just as painful…and a child born with teeth should in no way deter a woman from nursing. And yes while it is a rare occurance…it does happen and at times children are born with teeth…It never ceases to amaze me the sheer amount of stupidity and rude behavior that stuffs this website….It’s baffling.
