Q: ok im reading up some stuff on discharge during pregnancy and other stuff. this site is saying this :Your Growth and Development You may be anxious by pregnancy at 3 weeks to uncover any physical changes of pregnancy that may or may not be occurring during this time. Most women will not realize any true changes however for a few more weeks. You may however, be able to detect that you are ovulating during this time. Some women are able to tell when they ovulate. The biggest giveaway is pain or cramping on one side of the abdomen. Other women produce an increased amount of clear and stretchy discharge. does this mean that by the time your about 3 weeks pregnant you are OVULATING??? i thought if you got preg you cant ovulate but this is saying that during this point of preg. you may feel ovulation. well im having that discharge they are talking about and yesterday had such bad cramp pain in my left lower side. today its gone. all thats left is that stringy discharge. does that mean i did concieve??? im so confused…….ok. but does this mean i am pregnant??? ive never felt ovulation pain like this before. yesterday it was a bad pinching pain in my lower left side. the whole day. it got worse towards night time then dissapeared! ended it with that stringy discharge. whats happening to my body?
A: technically because they count 40 weeks from the first day of your last period its really only 37-38 weeks counted from your ovulation time.you ovulate around 2 weeks after the first day of your last period, so when they say you are 10 weeks pregnant its relly only 8 weeks from the day you actually physically became pregnant.
Does your cervical mucus/discharge look a certain way when you ovulate? Sorry, I know that’s kind of gross.
Q: I was just wondering if your cervical mucus/discharge looks a certain way when you’re ovulating? I know you ovulate about 14 days from the first day of your period right? I noticed I had a clear kind of stretchy discharge after I wiped (Sorry TMI!) on days 12 through 14. I ask this because I had unprotected sex when I had this discharge and he did not pull out. I had sex on day 13. We had both been drinking so it kind of just happened. He usually pulls out. I know that’s not a way of birth control for all of you who are dying to write something about that. We’ve been together for a very long time and we are not trying to get pregnant but we’re not not trying to get pregnant (make sense?). We both decided that if it happens than it happens and it was meant to be. I don’t know exactly when I ovulate so that’s why I ask about the discharge. I don’t always get crampy during that time like some people do. Thanks a head of time to the people who are really trying to give me a real answer.
A: Cervical mucous during ovulation usually resembles egg whites (which is pretty much what you are describing here), so chances are you were ovulating. When is your period due? If you are pretty regular, and end up being late, you should take a test to know for sure.I hope you get the outcome you want and good luck!-Laura

A: Really at 3wks you should be implanting b/c they start at day 1 of your lmp, so you ovulate around 14 days after that and implanting is like 7-12 days after that. So your pain might be just that. Just my opinion
