Need some help! Being charged with assault and unlawful entry!?
Q: I went to pick up my children at their fathers home Monday morning. Since he had already left for work, his new girlfriend was there instead of him. Being 5 1/2 months pregnant, any pregnant woman could tell you that the urge to pee comes frequently. When she came to the door I asked her if I could use the bathroom. She then proceeds to tell me “No, I don’t think so, David has told me some things that you have said about me, so if you need to piss, then you can do it in the front yard.” I then told her that I really had to go and I could not wait any longer because I had already been holding it for quite some time. She then started to shut the door in my face, so I put my left hand out to keep it from hitting me and hold it open. She then proceeded to basically toss my 2 year old into my arms (So I was only holding him with my right arm) and then she shoved me, almost knocking me down while I was holding my son in my arms. My boyfriend then jumped out of the truck and ran up to the door, seeing that I had almost fallen with my son in my arms and knowing that I am pregnant with his child, and took my two year old out of my arms. I then proceeded to grab the girl by her neck and push her back. During the altercation, while going to grab her neck, I supposedly scratched her neck and face causing it to bleed. I let go and continued to plead to use the restroom, and she finally told me “Go ahead and go, and then get the fuck out of my house.” So I went, and as I was leaving she tells me that she is calling the cops. And I tell her “Go ahead, and make sure when you call them, you let them know that you are comitting welfare fraud.” Going home, my childrens aunt, their fathers sister, calls me. She is personal friends with my childrens fathers girlfriend seeing as how she is dating my ex’s new girlfriends brother. (Confusing, I know) She asks me what happened, and I tell her. She tells me that she is shocked and cannot believe that a simple child exchange turned into me attacking my ex’s new girlfriend. I explained that she had pushed me, while I had my child in my hands, but she continued to take sides with her friend, and my ex’s new gilfriend. When I get home, I call my ex’s sister back, seeing as how she had called me when I was trying to drive back, but I was busy trying to attend to my 5 year old who had vomited in my truck. I talk to her, and she then hands the phone over to a detective who had arrived on the scene. I give him my home address, and 20 minutes later they arrive to get my side of the story.I tell them what happened, and so does my boyfriend. They inform me that she had a next door neighbor as a witness to me scratching her (I guess this neighbor owns binoculars) and 3 other witnesses (None of which were there)…my ex’s sister, my ex’s mother, and someone else. I was also informed by the police that she had told them that I forced my way into her home to go to the bathroom. (She didn’t tell them that she LET me go, so that is where the unlawful entry charge came into play) She also told them that I threatened her when I was leaving, which I never did.In addition, the police never asked me if I had any scratches or injuries, and were not helpful at all when I asked what I could do about her pushing me, almost knocking me down, while I had my 2 year old son in my arms. Their reply was “Tell your side in court, you cannot do anything until then.”I need some advice, and would like to hear whatever opinions on the situation that you have to offer.

A: wow, what drama. sounds like a jerry springer show.here’s the thing: her house, she has visible scars = you’re guilty of assault. pushed your way into someones house = unlawful entry. you say she let you go in. maybe, but you had your hands around her neck. verdict: at the very least you need anger management.ultimately, and with all the drama aside, it’s a minor domestic violence case. possibly even dismissed. still, you should think about anger management.
6 weeks pregnant, could I be?
Q: I don’t know why I’m putting this off so much, I guess I’m just scared to see a negative test. If I’m pregnant I’ll be 6 weeks tomorrow so seriously I have to get over this.I promised myself I will test tomorrow but I wanted to write out my stats and see what you women think:[1] I thought I had my period but it was 2 days early, I didn’t have the pre-period symptoms I usually do. Also it was basically all brown I only saw a tad of red. It lasted 4 days (usually the full week)[2] I’m not really having much breast pain, it might throb a tiny bit from time-to-time but nothing big and no physically changes yet[3] Feeling bloated[4] When I try to sleep at night the lower part of my legs get really restless and keep me awake all night[5] Ongoing headaches, bad ones[6] Pimples! I usually only get 1 or 2 when on my period, where did these things come from?[7] From 10am-ish till around 6pm-ish I feel rather nauseous. Like when you have stomach pains and it feels like you’re going to throw up but don’t. Even the thought of food makes me want to hurl.[8 ] I’m not peeing more frequently yet[9] A couple of nights have felt a stretching type feeling in my belly button area, as if something was pulling[10] A couple of days ago I could not stop passing gas, thank goodness they were silent because they were coming out every like 5 minutes for 2 days[11] I’m experiencing A LOT of hiccups today (I don’t know if this means anything, just throwing that out there)Any advice besides “TEST” will be great, I *am* testing tomorrow.
A: If you bled for four days… I’d say no. Even if you normally bleed for a week, but you know yourself better than I do. Changes in your diet, etc could change that.I’ve thought I was a million times, but wasn’t. Then when I finally was… I didn’t think I would be before I took the test. Some women claim to “just know” they’re pregnant… not me, I was surprised both times.I don’t think you’ll feel any stomach stretching or anything at 6 weeks pregnant. I got morning sickness really bad with both of my pregnancies, but it didn’t kick in until about week 7 or 8…. and then it lasted til about week 16.
