Yes. For the same reason that it's okay for your husband to ejaculate in you. You have a mucus plug covering your cervix and keeping everything that's supposed to be in your uterus in...and everything that's supposed to be out...out! I don'...

That's fine. You may find that you don't actually need lubricant while you're pregnant because the extra vaginal discharge keeps you pretty moist. But your cervix is tightly closed, so there's no danger of the lubricant getting to the baby....

can you really use this method to get pregnant?
Q: i was reading in a article/book that you can use actual egg whites from an egg and use that as a lubricant for a safe environment for the sperm and a safe way to the egg. Something about you let it sit out a while cause it's much to cold when it comes out of the fridge. But what about infections??? Has any one used this method??
A: yes I have heard of that but there is still a chance of salmonella poisoning I believe... its best if I were to buy a product called preseed and its a all natural sperm friendly lubricant made for us TTC'ers and what it does is it mimics ur natural fertile mucus to make the environment for the sperm healthy.. but best of luck to u!!
For those who know about both Pre and Preseed (I asked in pregnancy section, but only got 1 response)?
Q: I have used both Pre and Preseed when trying to conceive. I am now 8 weeks pregnant, so we don't need help in that area anymore, but Preseed has completely revamped mine and my husband's sex life. It feels great! But for those of you who use Preseed, you know how expensive it is for such a small amount. I have a tube of Pre, which has a lot more lubricant in it. Does anybody know if I can insert Pre with an applicator, just like I would Preseed, or does it have ingredients that make that not safe? Are there any other internal lubricants that are cheaper (preseed is the only internal one I've ever heard of.) Sorry if this is tmi. Thank for your help!By the way, we used Preseed 3 months before we got pregnant. It's worth the money when ttc!
A: How long were you trying before you used preseed? And i believe that pre is only an external lube, so im not sure.
