You have to let it heal and keep it very clean. Use mouth wash a couple time a day to get the food out.

It didn’t really bother me and I resumed most normal activity, just no streneous excercise or lifting or anything. If your dentist is going to put you under to remove them, you probably won’t be able to go back to work that do. As for my tooth, I just got shot with novacaine, then had it removed.
