A: I have brain cancer so I’m pretty familiar with what you are probably looking at. My tumor was noticeable without contrast and was white. With contrast my tumor was BRIGHT white. Some parts of the brain look whitish/greyish on films but that doesn’t necessarily mean you have a tumor… it could be the scan or naturally supposed to be that way. Stop worrying so much is my best advice. A dead give away for me was the amount of time I was in there. My scan was supposed to take 20 minutes (searching for what we thought would be a pinched nerve) and I was in the MRI machine for nearly 2 hours. Don’t fret until you hear the results from your doctor =) Please keep us updated!!
